Dr Sawyer is currently attending the Fellowship of Interventional Pain Practice examination in August 2016 as an examiner. This is the fourth time Dr Sawyer has attended as an examiner. This world-wide recognised examination is held in the beautiful Hungarian capital of Budapest. The examination tests both theoretical and practical knowledge in aspects of pain management and sets a very high standard, particularly in relation to competence to undertake interventional pain procedures.
